Not every incoming call can be trusted

Unknown numbers may not always be harmless and could potentially be associated with service that analyzes calling behavior,
screens suspicious calls, and detects unusual calling fraudulent activities.​
AIS has developed an intelligent protection service that provides alert notifications before answering calls to enhance security and help protect AIS Mobile users across the network.

It is recommended to avoid answering calls from the number.​

If you have already answered the call and notice suspicious behavior such as:​

  • Pressure tactics or threats ​

  • Claiming to represent an organization or authority ​

  • Requesting personal information ​

  • Suggest you to continue the conversation through another channel ​

Please hang up immediately and dial *1185# to report the number. AIS will further investigate and block the number if necessary.

Yes, calls can still be answered normally, but users should exercise caution.​

This warning message does not necessarily mean the caller is a scammer. It is generated by AIS intelligent systems that:​

  • Analyze usage history ​

  • Evaluate abnormal calling behavior ​

  • There are no additional charges for receiving calls.​

  • Both caller and recipient are using AIS HD Voice (VoLTE) ​

  • The caller is using a 10-digit mobile number (all networks supported) ​

  • The number is not saved in the recipient’s contacts or phone book

Yes, there are 2 warning categories:​

⚠️ Suspicious Number​

  • Mobile numbers or VOIP numbers ​

  • Commonly associated with prefixes such as +697 or +698 ​

  • May originate from both domestic and international networks ​

⚠️ International Call​

  • 10-digit mobile numbers ​

  • Incoming calls originating from overseas

Customers are advised to:​

  • Verify whether the number is used exclusively by themselves ​

  • Check whether the number has been used to log in to VOIP applications ​

  • Contact their network provider’s Call Center for investigation and review ​

  • Visit a nearby AIS Shop or Telewiz branch for assistance ​

If no abnormal activity is found, AIS will remove the warning notification accordingly.
