How to use AiCAM 

After purchasing the camera and subscribing to an AiCAM package, follow these steps to set up and start using the service:
Install the camera according to the instructions in the package. 
Download the AiCAM application from the App Store or Play Store.
Log in using your phone number or internet service number.
Connect the camera through the AiCAM application. 
Select an AI feature – each camera supports one AI feature at a time.
Note:
  • If you haven't purchased a package yet, the system will redirect you to the website to complete the package purchase. After that, return to the app to connect your camera and select your AI feature.

 

Customer Support

Warranty Claim for Damage or Defects 

AiCAM comes with a one-year warrantyfrom the purchase date.
If Damage is Found Within 7 Days of Purchase

1. Prepare the camera along with all accessories included in the package.

  • Visit the same AIS Shop branch where the IP Camera was purchased.

2. Contact JFTEC Call Center

  • Call 02-108-8518 or use Live Chat on the AiCAM application.

3. Prepare the receipt/tax invoice received upon purchasing the camera.

4. Product Inspection by JFTECH

  • JFTECH will inspect the product to confirm whether the camera is eligible for replacement.

5. Receive Claim Form

  • JFTECH will send the camera claim form to the customer via Live Chat on the AiCAM application.

6. Visit an AIS Shop to Request a Camera Replacement

  • Customers must prepare and bring the following items:
    1. The camera along with all accessories included in the original packaging.
    2. The receipt/tax invoice received upon purchasing the camera.
    3. The claim confirmation document received from JFTECH via email.

If the customer does not have the claim confirmation document, AIS Shop staff will not proceed with the camera replacement.

If Damage is Found After 7 Daysfrom the Purchase Date

1. Contact JFTEC Call Center at 02-108-8518.

2. Send the IP Camera to JFTEC for inspection.

A : No, AiCAM is exclusively available for AIS customers.

A : Customers can purchase multiple AI add-on packages; however, only one AI add-on package can be used per camera at a time. The system will deduct the total package amount from the customer’s wallet balance for prepaid customers or charge it through the billing cycle for postpaid customers with no pro-rata billing. 

A : No, changing to a new WiFi or relocating will not affect AiCAM usage. However, customers must perform a factory reset on the camera and reinstall and reconnect the camera to the new WiFi network. 

A : Yes, each camera can have only one AI feature activated at a time in the AiCAM application. 

A : Yes, customers can purchase an AI add-on package before buying an IP Camera. However, the package cannot be used until the camera is purchased, installed, and linked to the previously bought AI add-on package in the AiCAM application.

A : Customers can purchase an AI Cloud Storage add-on package first, but they cannot use it until they have purchased and installed an IP Camera, activated an AI add-on package and selected an AI feature in the AiCAM application. Each camera can have only one AI Cloud Storage add-on package at a time.

A : No, customers can purchase an unlimited number of AI Cloud Storage packages, regardless of the number of cameras they own. All AI Cloud Storage package amounts will be deducted from the customer’s wallet balance for prepaid customers or charged through the billing cycle for postpaid customers, with no pro-rata billing.

A : Customers can cancel AI add-on packages or AI Cloud Storage add-on packages only via the AiCAM application.

A :  To change the AI feature, customers must cancel the existing AI add-on package linked to the camera, purchase a new AI add-on package through AIS channels and select the new AI feature in the AiCAM application. Note: AIS does not offer pro-rata billing—customers will be charged the full 30-day amount regardless of actual usage date.

A : AIS encrypts all customer identity and package purchase data before transmitting it exclusively to JFTECH. AIS does not share any actual customer information with any third party.  The encryption process uses a randomized method, ensuring that JFTECH cannot decrypt or retrieve the original data by any means.

A : No, the AiCAM add-on package already includes One AI feature selection and 72 hours of cloud storage for event recordings detected by AI, allowing customers to review past events.

A :  To use the AI Cloud Storage package, customers must first have an active AiCAM add-on package. Follow these steps: 

  1. Log in to the AiCAM application using the phone number or internet number linked to the add-on package.
  2. Ensure the camera is connected and online.
  3. Select the connected camera in the application.
  4. The camera must have an active AI feature.
  5. If an AI add-on package has not been purchased and linked or an AI feature has not be selected, the AI Cloud Storage add-on package cannot be used.
  6. Choose a desired Cloud Storage upgrade package for the selected camera.

A : AIS and JFTECH cannot access any recorded data. Only the AiCAM user has exclusive access to their own recorded information.

A : No, only JFTEC IP Cameras sold by AIS through AIS Channels can be used with the AiCAM application and AI add-on packages.  Once a camera is linked to an AI feature and an AI add-on package, such add-on package is considered activated and cannot be transferred to another camera.  

A : No, the AI Cloud Storage add-on package is exclusively compatible with AiCAM cameras and the AiCAM application.

A : No, once the recording period has expired, the footage can no longer be accessed. JFTECH’s system will permanently delete the data after 10 days.

A : For optimal performance, AiCAM requires an internet speed of at least 2 Mbps or higher.
