exclusive care for your device. After your
purchase of a smartphone or tablet from AIS

simply apply for a AIS Care+ package, and you will be
entitled to the rights to have a device switch
or device replacement up to 2 times and
a screen replacement once within 12 months.

* The package applied shall be automatically renewed for a continued care service. Cancellation can be made anytime (no application can be resubmitted for a device with the same IMEI number).
Package terms and conditions
  • The package prices are VAT inclusive.
  • AIS Care+ packages are applicable to customers who have purchased devices from AIS or AIS dealers (under Advanced Wireless Network Co., Ltd.) only.
  • The packages are applicable to customers using AIS Postpaid numbers registered as individual users only.
  • The AIS Care+ package price depends on the regular price of the customer’s device (exclusive of any discount).
  • One number is entitled to package application for up to 3 devices only (1 mobile number/ 3 IMEIs).
  • The package becomes active once an SMS confirming successful application is received.
  • Postpaid packages shall automatically be renewed in the following month.
  • In case of application for a 12 month plan, the package shall automatically be renewed as a monthly package of the same price range at the beginning of the second year. However, a free package will be offered in the 13th month, and it will be charged from the 14th month onwards unless package cancellation is made.
  • The application can be made for up to 48 months continuously only.
  • All package fees are based on a date-to-date and time-to-midnight basis.
  • In case of service cancellation prior to the stipulated time or premature termination of the service for any reasons, the company reserves the right not to give a refund under any circumstances.
  • The customer’s request for temporary mobile service suspension for over 60 days will automatically result in the AIS Care+ service termination.
  • In case of service suspension, the AIS Care+ services shall be deemed terminated.
  • In case of mobile service cancellation, change from postpaid to prepaid services, or move to another network, the AIS Care+ services shall be deemed terminated.
  • AIS Care+ is a form of services intended to provide exclusive care for AIS customers; it is not an insurance.

What services do I get?

After the package application, you may enjoy AIS Care+ services as follows

Free screen replacement
Once with no service fee to be incurred

Device switch
The original device for which the package application has been made shall be exchanged with an AIS Care+ device,
25% of the device price will be charged.

Device replacement
In case where no original device is present for replacement
42.5% of the device price will be charged.

Service terms and conditions
  • The device protection solutions are offered by Bolttech Device Protection (Thailand) Limited.
  • The device switch to another brand or model will be subject to the service provider’s stipulation.
  • The switch or replacement devices come with a 12 month warranty from the date of device delivery. (The warranty covers physical damage to the device due to manufacturing errors only.)
  • A warranty is provided for a replaced screen for three months from the date of device delivery.
  • In case of a device switch, the old device must be handed to AIS upon delivery of the AIS Care+ device.
  • The lost device as reported by the customer is deemed as a property of the service provider.
  • The service provider is entitled to the right to reject or cancel the services, or take legal action in case it is found that the customer’s use of the services involves intentional deception or illegal action.

Delivery terms and conditions
  • The device delivery shall be made to the service subscriber only. The service subscriber shall be required to present his/her ID card, and no representative shall be allowed to receive the new device.
  • The delivery lead time does not include holidays.
  • “In case of a screen replacement”, the delivery lead time will start from the moment when the device is successfully received from the customer.
  • “In case of a device switch or replacement”, the delivery lead time will start from the moment when the service request is made and the customer’s payment is complete.
  • You are entitled to the right to request a compensation for a delayed service/delivery, which may cover the two categories below:
    • 1. Compensation for the package fee based on the remaining service period of up to 12 months.
    • 2. Compensation for the 25% device exchange or 42.5% device replacement that has been paid.
    *The customer will be subject to any tax incurred. Terms and conditions apply.
  • The compensation shall be transferred to the customer’s bank account or as stipulated by the service provider.

FAQs

Q. Is AIS Care+ applicable to customers with a device purchased elsewhere?
A. No. This service is available for customers who have purchased a device from AIS or AIS dealers (under Advanced Wireless Network Co., Ltd.) only.
Q. Is AIS Care+ applicable to customers who have purchased a device from AIS but are not using an AIS number?
A. Yes. However, the customer will be required to get a new SIM from AIS since this service is intended for AIS prepaid customers only.
Q. There is a package fee, and why is there a service fee to pay?
A.
  • AIS Care+ involves two fees: the “package fee” to confirm the customer’s application for the monthly or yearly AIS Care+ service,
  • and the “service fee”, which will be incurred in case of a device exchange or replacement.
Q. Is AIS Care+ a form of insurance?
A. AIS Care+ is not an insurance. It is a service intended to take care of AIS customers’ smartphones/tablets in case of loss or damage from a fall, cracked screen or drop in water.
Q. What is the difference between AIS Care+ and the insurance plan available from the device manufacturer?
A. AIS Care+ is a service intended to take care of AIS customers’ devices in case of loss, fall, cracked screen or drop in water while insurance plans offered by device manufacturer is appliable to damage from the manufacture itself only.
Q. What is the refund rate for a delivery delay? How do I get the refund? Will the refund be in cash?
A.
  • The refund rate calculation is based on the remaining period of the customer’s AIS Care+ service (up to 12 months).
  • The refund shall be paid to the customer’s bank account.
Q. Is AIS Care+ applicable to AIS prepaid services?
A. No
Q. Will my device be switch or replaced by a brand new one?
A. Devices from AIS Care+ are refurbished items certified by the manufacturers.
Q. In case I am using a corporate/organizational number, will AIS Care+ be applicable to me?
A. No. AIS Care+ is applicable to individual AIS customers who have purchased a smartphone/tablet from Advanced Wireless Network Co., Ltd. only.
