AIS Mobile Care Service Conditions

This service is only for AIS 3G customers who bought a mobile phone or a smartphone from Wireless Device Supply Company Ltd. or Advanced Wireless Network Company Ltd.
The customer must subscribe to the service within the day of purchase. The service eligibility is for one mobile number per tree device (1 Mobile No./ 3 IMEI) only.
The service starts once the customer receives an SMS confirming the registration has been completed
AIS 1-2-Call! subscriber (pre-paid) must complete the identification process including provide information on name, last name, and address prior to the service subscription.
The fee is calculated based on date-to-date basis, both monthly package and 12-month package. The company reserves the right not to refund the fee under any circumstances if the customer cancel this service before the service validity ends or there’s any circumstances where the service must end.
The AIS Mobile Care fee consists of 2 parts: monthly fee based on the chosen package and the service request fee.
- a. The monthly package fee depends on the regular price of the device on the date of purchase announced by the company
- b. The mobile swap or mobile replacement fee
The customer can swap the device twice (2 times) per a 12-month period or have 1 replacement and 1 swap per a 12-month period, on both monthly package and 12-month package.
In case of Swap service, the customer must pay a fee of 25% of the regular price of the device, excluding any promotional discount, on the date of purchase announced by the company. The customer shall receive only the device but not the battery and accessories and must return the device with the same IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) as registered with service subscription.
In case of the replacement service, the customer must pay as the rates follows: 45% for 1st year, 40% for 2nd year, and 30% for 3rd/4th year of the device price on the date of the purchase announced by the company. The customer shall receive the device, battery, and a SIM card, without any accessories.
The device from the Swap/Replacement service is an after-sales device with the same brand, model, and colour (Like for Like basis).
After the swap or replacement, the manufacturer warranty will be ended immediately. However, the customer will have an insurance from AIS Mobile Care on the device and the accessories that came with the old device for 6 months, starting from the day customer receives the device (the device is insured only in case of manufacturing flaws).
Apple customer with iPhone 6 or newer devices who subscribes to the AIS Mobile Care service will also receive these warranty terms:
- a. In case of swap/replacement no more than 6 months from the date of purchase, the device will carry a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase.
- b. In case of swap/replacement more than 6 months from the date of purchase, the device will carry a 180 day warranty from the date of purchase.
Customer who has subscribed to the AIS Mobile Care service and have swapped for a new device under the phone manufacturer warranty must inform the company of the new IMEI at AIS Shop along with documents related to the swap.
The device shall be delivered within 6 hours for the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and 1-2 days for other areas, depending on the distance if the request is made by 14.00 and if the new device is in stock. (No delivery on Sunday and public holidays).
The company will deliver the device to the subscriber only. Subscriber must present their ID card. Subscriber cannot authorize other person to receive the device.
The provider has a propriety right to the lost devices.
The company has a right to deny and cancel the service immediately if:
- a. The customer has been verified to have registered for the service or to use the Swap/Replacement service with unlawful intent.
- b. The customer is not qualified or does not use this service according to the service agreements.
In case of cancelling the service, the IMEI will not be allowed to re-register for this service.
The provider has a right to take legal action if it finds illegal uses from this service.

Conditions for customers with old packages

This service is only for AIS 3G/4G customers who registered on behalf of an individual and bought a mobile phone or a smartphone from Wireless Device Supply Company Ltd. or Advanced Wireless Network Company Ltd.
The customer must register for the service within the day of purchase of the new device at AIS Shop and Telewiz Shop only.
The service is for one mobile number per one device (1 Mobile No./ 1 IMEI) only
The service starts once the customer receives an SMS confirming the registration has been completed.
Pre-paid customer must do the registration in person and give information on name, last name, and address prior to the registration for the service benefits.
The AIS Mobile Care fee consists of 2 parts: monthly fee based on the chosen package and the service request fee.
1. The chosen package fee depends on the price of the device on the day of purchase, excluding any promotions, announced by the company.
2. The Swap or Replacement fee
  - In the case of Swap service, the customer must pay a fee of 25% of the price of the device on the day of the purchase, excluding any promotions.
  - In the case of Replacement service, the customer must pay a fee of 45% of the price of the device on the day of the purchase, excluding any promotions.
If an AIS 3G customer registers for this service during a billing cycle, the company will charge as per prorate. The company reserves the right not to refund the fee under any circumstances if the customer chooses to cancel this service before the end date or any circumstances where the service must end.
Service conditions
1. This service is available twice (2 times) per a 12-month period.
2. In case of swap, the customer shall receive only the device but not the battery and accessories and must return the device with the same IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) as the one registered during the registration.
3. In case of replacement, the customer shall receive the device, battery, and a sim card, but not any accessories.
4. The device from the Swap/Replacement service is an after-sales device with the same brand, model, and colour (Like for Like).
After the swap or replacement, the insurance from the distributer for the old device shall expire immediately. However, the customer will have an insurance from AIS Mobile Care on the device and the accessories that came with the old device for 6 months, starting from the day the customer receives the device (the device is insured only in case of manufacturing flaws).
Apple customer with iPhone 6 or more recent devices who has registered for AIS Mobile Care will have an after-sales service for 12 months starting from the day of purchase. If a Swap or Replacement service is requested after 6 months after purchase, the customer shall have an after-sales service for another 6 months starting from the day the customer receives the device from AIS Mobile Care.
Customer who has registered for AIS Mobile Care and has swapped for a new device under the mobile phone’s brand insurance must inform the company of the new IMEI at AIS Shop along with documents related to the swap.
The device shall be delivered within 6 hours for the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and 1-2 days for other provinces based on the distance if the request is made by 2 PM and if the new device is in stock.
In case of cancelling the service, the IMEI will not be allowed to re-register for this service.
This service ends immediately if:
- The customer cancels the phone number
- The customer chooses to change the provider (Port-out)
- The customer converts the package from monthly to pre-paid
- The customer transfers the ownership
- The IMEI has continuously been in this service for 36 months
- The payment is behind and the service has been suspended
- The customer has requested to temporarily suspend the phone service
- The company cancels this service
The company has a right to deny and cancel the service immediately if:
1. The customer has been verified to have registered for the service or use the Swap/Replacement service with unlawful intent.
2. The customer is not qualified or does not use this service according to the service agreements.
The provider has a propriety right to the lost devices.
The company reserves the right to change these conditions without prior notice.
